Dr. Keith Matheny, Medical Director
Dr. Matheny received his M.D. at University of Texas with Internship/Residency at Vanderbilt. He offers options for facial rejuvenation by serving as medical director of Avanti Skin Center Willow Bend. Dr. Matheny has numerous scientific publications and currently serves in multiple hospital leadership positions. He grew up in Plano where he now lives with his wife and two daughters.
Joy Lavender, Aesthetician and Laser Specialist
Joy Lavender is a graduate of the ITS Academy and is a State of Texas certified medical aesthetician and Cutera certified laser specialist. She strives to provide the best possible results for her clients while offering a soothing, pampering experience. Joy’s knowledge and personal interest extends to the area of skin care where she is committed to assisting and directing her clients to the products that give them the best solution to restoring their skin’s natural ability to restore itself.
Kelly Alexander, Aesthetician and Laser Specialist
In 2006 Kelly Alexander discovered her passion for aesthetics and attended the Ogle School of Hair, SKin and Nails in Dallas, Texas. While at Ogle, she was voted by her peers as the Lead Aesthetician. "I love to take the journey with my clients to help them achieve their goals." Kelly has been in the medical spa industry for four years and has extensive training working with various lasers and equipment.
Misty Shedd, RN, BSN, Nurse/Injector
Misty Shedd comes to Avanti Skin Center of Willow Bend as a graduate of Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, Texas. Misty is trained in multiple injections and is laser certified. She is a trainer for Allergan (BOTOX®and JUVEDERM®) and has been working in the cosmetic service industry for over seven years. Misty is very respected in the Dallas area and welcomes all her clients to the spa.
Kim Welch, RN, BSN, Nurse/Injector
Kim Welch comes to Avanti Skin Center of Willow Bend as a Graduate of Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. Kim is an aesthetic nurse specialist with several certifications in injectibles and lasers. Kim states her passion is "helping people look and feel their very best".
Deede Signoretto, Clinic Director
Deede has been in the sales and service industry most of her adult life. As Avanti’s Clinic Director she cares about what is best for our clients and not about the sale. With a career that has included the management of a large commercial office building in the metroplex, Deede also brings her extensive experience in the nutrition business to the spa.
Erin Stembridge, Licensed Massage Therapist
Erin Stembridge is a graduate of the Parker School of Massage. She offers both Swedish and therapeutic massage with a philosophy that regular treatments in this health care area can relax, rejuvenate and de-stress our lives. Recently relocated to Dallas from Tallahassee, Florida, Erin is highly motivated to “bring exceptional service and massage therapy to each and every one of her clients.”
Patti Cooke, General Manager
Patti Cooke is the General Manager of the Avanti Skin Center of Willow Bend. Under Patti’s direction, the spa successfully opened in October 2007 and continues to thrive with the established model of providing exceptional services and client care. Patti oversees all aspects of the spa on a daily basis and takes pride in the growth and success that it has achieved. Patti works closely with the team at effectively managing the art of aging.
